The Arctic Convoys of the Second World War

Event type: General Meeting
Date: 18th May 2026
Time: 2:00 pm
Venue: Culloden Baptist Church

One of the Trustees of the Arctic Convoy Museum at Aultbea will tell us about the convoys and the history and work of the museum. Loch Ewe was a hive of activity during the war and it was the point of departure for many of the convoys bound for Russia. The Museum and Exhibition Centre is a lasting legacy to those who braved Arctic waters under constant threat of attack from enemy aircraft and u-boats.
